A Maryland woman allegedly turned an American Airlines cabin into an unwanted mile-high peep show after slipping out of her pants on a Baltimore-to-Miami flight, then snoozed through the rest of the trip, authorities said.
Katy Inzer, 46, had deputies waiting for her when American Airlines Flight 1779 reached Miami International Airport on Sept. 11, according to a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office incident report cited by The Smoking Gun.
News 6 reported that deputies were sent to the aircraft after the crew flagged a passenger problem that began not long after the plane departed Baltimore.
Roughly 20 minutes after takeoff, a flight attendant was alerted that Inzer had removed her pants, made inappropriate sounds and started intimately touching herself, the report said.

The cabin drama ended after a crew member told Inzer to get dressed.
“(The attendant) stated that he approached Ms. Inzer and instructed her to put her pants back on, which Ms. Inzer complied without further incident,” the report reads.
Deputies wrote that Inzer spent the rest of the flight asleep.
The alcohol issue surfaced once investigators spoke with Inzer in Miami.
The report noted that she had bloodshot eyes and smelled strongly of alcohol.
Inzer allegedly told investigators that she had several drinks before boarding because the Baltimore flight had been delayed for two hours.
“Ms. Inzer stated that her flight was delayed for two hours in Baltimore and, as a result, she had several drinks before boarding the flight,” the report continues. “Ms. Inzer stated that she does not remember what occurred during flight because she fell asleep.”
Because the alleged incident happened in the air, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office told News 6 that the FBI later took over the case.
Another Florida-bound flight had already produced its own cabin exposure case, this one involving a British passenger who admitted pulling down her underwear in front of other travelers.
Sarah Parker, 30, of Halifax in West Yorkshire, pleaded guilty at Manchester Magistrates Court after the July 24 incident last year aboard a Birmingham-to-Melbourne, Florida flight.
Parker had left her seat and used the bathroom during takeoff from Birmingham Airport despite the pilot’s instructions, then stripped off her shorts and underwear in the aisle.
The charge stated that Parker behaved indecently by “pulling down her shorts and underwear, squatting and exposing her vagina in full view of other passengers.”
She admitted one count of outraging public decency, failing to comply with the pilot’s instructions and being intoxicated on a plane.
Miami-Dade deputies also handled a store case that authorities described at a media briefing after a female Ross employee was allegedly targeted while working near the shelves.
Police were called to the Ross on Southwest 56th Street on Aug. 17 at about 4:15 p.m., but the man accused in the battery report had already left.
A witness later told police that the man had been touching himself near the employee before the witness went to loss prevention.
Lead Detective Diego Mendoza said the man entered the area where the employee was working, began taking pictures of her and moved close behind her.
“The male just happened to get into an area where she was working at and took a liking to her and started taking pictures, as we see on the video of her, of her buttocks and getting close to her,” Mendoza said.
After the witness returned, she saw the man positioned behind the employee while the worker was crouched on the floor, Mendoza said.
“The witness went to loss prevention about this, and when she came back, she saw the subject getting directly behind the victim, who was crouching down on the floor, and he sprayed her,” he added.
Some outlets reported that the man ejaculated on the worker, while others referred to the substance as an “unknown liquid.”
WTVJ-TV reported that police were running DNA testing on the liquid, which was described as “cloudy” and “sticky.”
A lineup later led investigators to Sean Edward Uribe, who was arrested a week afterward at his probation officer’s office.
Mendoza said Uribe had previously been arrested in similar cases.
“This is not the first time he has done this,” Mendoza said. “He is well known to our unit. But it is pretty shocking that he would do something like this in front of the camera and in front of kids and anyone looking.”
Mendoza said Uribe’s prior convictions would make the latest charge a felony.
“My concern is that he is doing this to a number of women across Miami-Dade County,” he added. “I am sure multiple females are not even aware he has done that to them. I am sure this guy has done this multiple times to multiple people and multiple females all over Dade County.”
Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Mindy Glazer set Uribe’s bond at $10,000 and appointed a public defender.
A California supermarket aisle was the setting for another alleged incident in April, when security footage from a Valencia Whole Foods captured a man near a woman shopping on a lower shelf.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the man approached the kneeling shopper, exposed himself and inappropriately touched her.
The footage showed him appearing to place his crotch near the woman’s head while leaning over her as she looked at products.
The man then walked out of the store, the sheriff’s department said.
A Whole Foods spokesperson told CBS News the incident was “deeply concerning,” adding that “the safety and wellbeing of our customers is our top priority.”
