Police in Kentucky arrested a 59-year-old man accused of repeatedly exposing himself and performing lewd acts in a popular public park after witnesses snapped photos that investigators later used to identify him.
Authorities said Gregory Mack allegedly targeted visitors at Cherokee Park in Louisville during at least two separate incidents that left victims reporting disturbing encounters to police.
The Louisville Metro Police Department said multiple witnesses photographed a man wandering through the park in his underwear before allegedly exposing himself. Those images eventually led investigators to Mack.
According to court documents cited by WHAS 11, one incident happened in late April when two people walking through the park spotted a man sitting on a bench with his underwear around his ankles.
Police alleged the man was “manually stimulating himself” as the victims walked past.
Another reported encounter took place May 4 when a woman and a 5-year-old child were photographing an owl’s nest inside the park.

Investigators said a man again exposed himself before allegedly touching himself in front of the victims.
Police credited witness photographs and anonymous tips with helping identify Mack as the suspect.
He was arrested Friday and charged with first-degree indecent exposure and second-degree indecent exposure.
Court records reviewed by WHAS 11 showed he was later released on a $2,500 bond.
The Kentucky arrest was one of several bizarre and disturbing incidents involving naked or partially clothed suspects that recently ended with police investigations, violent confrontations, and felony charges.
In Boston, a homeowner woke up to find a completely naked stranger sitting on his couch and allegedly smoking what appeared to be a crack pipe inside the family’s Beacon Hill residence.
Police identified the intruder as 28-year-old Jainel Roman of Boston.
According to a report from the Boston Police Department, the homeowner discovered Roman around 8 a.m. on a Saturday after walking downstairs inside the residence.
The resident allegedly found the naked man sitting in the living room “smoking what appeared to be a crack pipe.”
Instead of confronting him, the homeowner reportedly turned around, went back upstairs, secured his children, and called 911.
When officers arrived at the home, they found Roman upstairs sitting naked on a toilet in a second-floor bathroom, according to police.
Authorities said Roman did not appear to be attempting a robbery. Investigators instead described him as essentially making himself comfortable inside the house.
Police transported Roman to Nashua Street Jail for booking. He was expected to face charges including breaking and entering during the daytime for a felony, vandalizing property, lewdness, and putting a person in fear.
Another confrontation escalated into violence in Florida after a man arrived at his girlfriend’s home and allegedly found himself staring down the barrel of a gun held by her teenage sister.
Authorities accused 18-year-old Adrianna Barron of ordering the man to strip and empty his pockets before pistol-whipping him.
According to the arrest report, the boyfriend arrived at the home around 2 a.m. after a friend gave him a ride.
WEAR News reported Barron allegedly approached him with a firearm moments after he arrived.
Investigators said she pointed the gun at the victim and demanded he remove his clothes and hand over everything in his pockets.
Police alleged Barron struck the man in the face with the firearm during the confrontation.
The boyfriend and his girlfriend reportedly ran from the scene and jumped into the friend’s truck.
Authorities said Barron then turned her attention toward the driver. According to investigators, she pointed the weapon at him and ordered him to empty his pockets as well.
Instead, the driver allegedly fled in the truck with the other two passengers.
Deputies said Barron chased the truck in another vehicle and allegedly tried forcing it off the road.
When deputies attempted a traffic stop, investigators said Barron initially fled from law enforcement. Authorities later tracked her down and arrested her.
According to deputies, Barron later told investigators she “only wanted to help her sister.” The explanation did little to help her criminal case.
Barron was booked into the Escambia County Jail on charges including attempted robbery with a weapon, aggravated assault, battery, fleeing and eluding police, and driving without a valid license.
Another disturbing encounter unfolded in Georgia earlier this year when deputies responding to reports of a nearly nude man near an elementary school ended up shooting and repeatedly tasing the suspect during a chaotic confrontation.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Rockdale County deputies responded in April after receiving reports of a man exposing himself near Peeks Chapel Elementary School in Conyers.
Deputies located the nearly nude suspect, later identified as 19-year-old Jason Marshall-Haynes, on Benji Boulevard.
According to the GBI, Marshall-Haynes advanced toward one of the deputies after officers attempted to stop him.
Investigators said deputies first tried using pepper spray and a Taser. Authorities said those efforts failed to stop him.
When Marshall-Haynes allegedly continued moving toward officers and ignored commands, one deputy opened fire.
A second deputy arriving at the scene then deployed another Taser as officers struggled to take him into custody.
Witnesses later told WAGA-TV the suspect continued advancing even after being shot.
“He did everything possible not to use his firearm,” one witness said of the deputy involved in the shooting.
The witness also said the suspect appeared to be experiencing a mental health episode.
Cellphone video obtained by WAGA reportedly captured portions of the incident before and after the shooting.
Marshall-Haynes survived and was transported to a hospital, where authorities said he remained in stable condition. No deputies suffered injuries during the confrontation.
The deputy who fired the shots was placed on administrative leave, which Sheriff Eric J. Levett described as routine procedure while investigators review the incident.
