Hundreds of teens packed into a $4.8 million Texas mansion before multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire and threats brought police to the property on March 21.

Officers with the Celina Police Department responded after callers reported shots fired and men at the front gate with guns threatening to kill someone.

“We started getting the 911 calls with the shots fired. We also got a call that there were ten men at the front gate, and they had guns, and they were threatening to kill someone,” Police Chief John Cullison said.

The report of armed men at the entrance shaped the initial response as officers approached the property. “So, this of course amped our officers up just a bit to make sure we go inside and keep everybody safe. But it wasn’t until they went inside and they actually realized how vast this party was,” Cullison said.

Once inside, officers encountered a crowd far larger than the initial booking suggested. Police estimated between 500 and 800 people were at the home, with attendees described as ranging from about 15 to 25 years old.

Cullison said officers observed damage inside the home along with bloodstained sheets and towels. He described the conditions alongside the reports that brought officers to the scene.

“We had shots fired. We had assaults. We had people threatening to kill people. We have bloody sheets on location. All these things are just an incredibly bad mixture that can end up in your child getting hurt,” he said.

Police said the party had been advertised online. As officers entered, body camera footage showed teens running from the property as police moved in, according to the report.

Video from inside the home showed people fighting, dancing on countertops, and moving through multiple rooms. The activity captured on video reflects what was taking place inside before police arrived.

The homeowner, Kishore Karlapudi, said the reservation was made for a small group. He said the person who booked the property claimed it would be for seven people.

Karlapudi described what he found after the party. “We were totally shocked, and they damaged the property, you know. They took all the furniture out of the living space, and they put it in the garage,” he said.

He listed damage to fixtures and surfaces throughout the home. “They took all the wall fixtures, everything out. They broke the wall fixture. They broke, the island was broken. The granite countertop was broken because it looks like kids danced on those,” he said.

Police reported no injuries at the scene. A minor was arrested for suspected DUI and another person with an active warrant was taken into custody, according to the report.

Cullison said the department is investigating possible ordinance violations along with other crimes connected to the reported discharge of a firearm at the party.

“As both your Chief of Police and a parent, I strongly encourage parents in our community to use this incident as a catalyst for having open and direct conversations with their sons and daughters about personal responsibility, wise decision making, and the dangers that can quickly intensify in such environments,” he said.

He continued with guidance tied to large gatherings advertised online. “First and foremost be aware of the dangers that can exist going to a large party advertised on social media. The risks can include people having weapons, possible assaults by people you don’t know, and of course underage drinking can lead to other harmful outcomes,” Cullison said.

“Additionally, parents of juveniles and young adults should have intentional conversations about the dangers of house parties such as these. As a community we should be protecting our kids and educating them on how to avoid social harms.”

A separate gathering in Tarzana involved a crowd of about 200 people at a home associated with rappers DDG and Blueface, according to TMZ.

Video from that location showed people packed inside and outside the property. Clips captured people moving through the crowd, fighting, and attempting to enter the home while security was present.

Authorities were called to the Mecca Avenue address around 10:40 p.m. following reports of fights and possible gang activity. The presence of multiple police units ended the gathering as attendees left the area.

No arrests or injuries were immediately reported from that incident.

In San Diego, a listing became the site of a large party that drew nearly 100 people, according to authorities. A flyer for the event included a message asking guests to respect the house.

Realtor Vanessa Munoz described the condition of the property after the event. “The house was not respected whatsoever,” she said.

Munoz said she found videos online showing people inside the home. “I hopped on Instagram and there they are. There’s videos of people partying inside the living room of my listing. A packed house,” she said.

She described damage throughout the property and activity reported at the scene. “There was fireworks, a huge hole in the wall, somebody got into a physical fight. We heard there was weapons and drugs,” she said.

Munoz said the repairs cost about $10,000 and were completed ahead of a scheduled home closing. “We had to get the work done. We couldn’t wait on insurance or any of that because we have a new homeowner who’s going to be closing on the home soon,” she said.

Police in San Diego said large crowds can make it difficult to immediately shut down these events. Officers remained in the area, made contact with attendees, and took reports as people left.

Munoz said she was aware of another event advertised online by the same group, scheduled for a later date.

In Missouri, a gathering that began as a small group expanded after the address was shared, according to the host. “It just got a little out of hand,” said 16-year-old Kaelen Homar.

He described how the crowd grew. “It just kept spreading and spreading.” He added, “I’m thinking, ‘This is crazy.’”

Damage reported at that home included broken windows, a damaged television, and structural damage to walls and fixtures.

In Nashville, police said teens entered a home for sale and held an underage party, leading to multiple arrests. Authorities said four 17-year-olds, five 16-year-olds, and three 15-year-olds faced charges including felony vandalism and aggravated criminal trespassing.

Police said up to 200 teens were at the party. The group accessed the home using keys from a lock box, according to the report.

Investigators used video recorded at the scene to identify those involved. Damage included torn fixtures, soaked flooring, and damaged cabinets, with repairs estimated at about $16,000.

In another Tennessee case, homeowners reported more than $100,000 in damage after nearly 200 teens gathered at a property advertised online.

Homeowner Kyle Grasser described what he saw. “It’s heartbreaking,” he said.

“I am not some big developer. I am just a guy. I’ve got my whole life savings into these houses. You roll up and see everybody destroying that, you feel helpless.”
