A 15-year-old girl in Florida is facing felony charges after shocking bodycam footage captured her striking a police cruiser with a metal shovel as an officer sat inside, officials said.
The teen, identified as Amy Chance, was taken into custody on November 3 in a Port St. Lucie neighborhood following a disturbance reported at her family’s home.
According to a police statement, an officer arrived at the scene to investigate when the situation escalated dramatically.
Authorities said the teen appeared in the street holding a shovel and began striking the patrol car multiple times.

Video released by the Port St. Lucie Police Department shows the suspect standing in front of the cruiser, raising the shovel, and slamming it onto the hood as the officer watched from inside.
“Are you kidding me?” the officer can be heard saying in disbelief before stepping out of the vehicle.
The footage then shows him drawing his Taser and ordering the girl to drop the weapon.
Chance stares back at him for several tense seconds before letting go of the shovel. Instead of retreating, she flips the officer off and begins walking away.
The officer follows her, giving multiple commands for her to stop. “Get on the f–king ground,” he orders.
The teen complies after a brief standoff, kneeling on the pavement as the officer places her in handcuffs. Police confirmed that she was taken into custody without further incident.
Investigators said the attack caused more than $1,200 in damage to the police vehicle.
Chance now faces a felony criminal mischief charge, according to the department’s report.
“Regardless of age, resorting to intentional damage of people or property in our city will result in an arrest,” the Port St. Lucie Police Department stated in a press release.
Authorities have not disclosed what led to the disturbance at the teen’s home or why she targeted the police cruiser.
In a separate case elsewhere in Florida, another 15-year-old is facing serious legal trouble after authorities said he led deputies on a high-speed chase through busy rush-hour traffic while riding an electric dirt bike.
Deputies from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office identified the teen as Kyle Vincent Siemon of Naples.

According to officials, around 6 p.m. last Tuesday evening, deputies spotted Siemon speeding and swerving between cars along Golden Gate Parkway.
Dashcam footage released by the sheriff’s office shows the dirt bike darting through lanes of traffic as cars honk and brake to avoid collisions.
Deputies said they attempted to pull Siemon over, but instead of stopping, he accelerated, weaving in and out of vehicles and occasionally driving onto sidewalks.
Authorities estimated his speed reached nearly 70 mph. The teen looked back repeatedly during the pursuit, seemingly aware of the flashing lights behind him.
“No regard for public safety,” deputies described his driving in their report.
Because of the increasingly dangerous conditions, deputies made the decision to terminate the chase.
Minutes later, Siemon lost control of the dirt bike while descending a hill. The vehicle got caught in a ditch, and deputies quickly moved in to arrest him.
Siemon was taken to the Collier County Jail and charged with fleeing and eluding law enforcement.
Sheriff Kevin Rambosk released a statement commending the deputies’ actions during the tense situation.
“This young man’s reckless riding put countless pedestrians and motorists at risk,” Rambosk commented.
“I am grateful for the professional response of our deputies in bringing this incident to a safe resolution. Keeping our roads and sidewalks safe for everyone who lives, works, and travels in Collier County is a top priority.”
Another headline-grabbing incident unfolded in South Florida when a 61-year-old woman was accused of attacking a group of children riding e-bikes through a neighborhood.
Authorities said Silvia Perez became enraged after encountering a group of minors on e-bikes in the street on October 18.
According to police, she stopped her luxury Bentley sedan in the middle of the roadway and shouted at the kids to move aside.
Video recorded by one of the children captured Perez screaming profanities and gesturing angrily as the group complied.
Instead of leaving, Perez allegedly repositioned her vehicle perpendicular to the bike path and confronted the kids again.
The arrest report states she approached the group a second time, waving her finger and yelling that they were blocking traffic.
“It’s not a bike path,” she shouted. “It’s a f***ing big street and you know it.”
When one of the children held up a phone to record the encounter, Perez snatched it from their hands and hurled it to the ground, the report said.
“You want me to? Do you want me to throw the phone?” she allegedly shouted.
Police said she then threatened to toss the phone into a nearby canal before dropping it again.
The confrontation disrupted traffic and drew the attention of several bystanders who rushed to protect the children.
Witnesses said she got back in her car and continued yelling at the juveniles and at those trying to intervene before eventually driving away.
Weeks later, Perez turned herself in to police and was charged with robbery and battery.
The incident, captured on video, quickly went viral across social media.
During a court hearing, her attorney argued that Perez’s outburst stemmed from concerns about reckless behavior among teens in the neighborhood.
“She’s observing juveniles on motorbikes, electric bikes, popping wheelies, being disruptive on the highway,” the lawyer said, adding that the viral clip only showed part of the story.
The judge released Perez on her own recognizance, despite the objections of prosecutors.

Where this child’s parents? They should also be charged. Enough!
