A drunk Wyoming man allegedly hijacked an unattended airport golf cart and took it for a destructive joyride down a moving walkway—leaving behind broken glass, bent metal, and stunned travelers.
Wyoming man causes chaos at New York airport
A chaotic scene unfolded at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York when 29-year-old Kevin Sinning reportedly appeared to be heavily intoxicated when the bizarre incident began early Monday morning.
Cell phone videos that quickly circulated on social media captured Sinning behind the wheel of a white six-seat airport transport vehicle.
The cart, authorities say, had been left idle with the keys inside, which was an unfortunate mistake that Sinning seemed eager to seize upon.
Footage showed the cart rolling down the airport’s moving walkway, careening over railings and creating a path of destruction.
Additional clips showed Sinning at the far end of the terminal, spinning the cart around and steering it in the opposite direction, reportedly ignoring repeated pleas from airport staff to stop.
Eyewitnesses at the airport described a scene of confusion and concern. Some feared the worst as they watched the man recklessly barrel through the terminal.
“My thoughts were, did he breach security? Did he get in somewhere that he shouldn’t have got into, you know, what was his intentions from the get go? Was he armed?” said Tom Brennon, a traveler who witnessed the incident, in an interview with WGRZ.
“So I think that’s why a lot of people took a safe step back just to, you know, let everything play out until Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) police arrived,” Brennon added.

The aftermath of the incident was clear in the videos, with twisted fragments of metal and shattered glass littered the terminal floor, marking the trail of the joyride gone off the rails.
Witnesses reported that Sinning showed no signs of concern or hesitation throughout the ordeal.
“I could tell something wasn’t right with him. He was not responding to demands from the people telling him to stop and they had it all. He was totally disregarding the people around him,” Brennon added.

Law enforcement later confirmed that Sinning was taken into custody without further incident.
He is now facing a slate of charges that include grand larceny, criminal mischief, criminal nuisance, disorderly conduct, and possession of stolen property.
Meanwhile, in a separate and equally baffling case further south, authorities in Florida dealt with their own joyride incident.
This one involving a trackless tourist train, a meth pipe, and a birthday celebration gone sideways.
Police in Key West say 57-year-old Jonathan Patrick Winslow of Big Torch Key made his Independence Day memorable for all the wrong reasons when he allegedly stole a Conch Tour Train and took it on an unsanctioned cruise through downtown.
According to WPLG-TV, officers received a call around 11:30 a.m., reporting that one of the iconic tourist trains had been taken from the depot.
Employees at the Conch Tour Train location told police that Winslow, who had reportedly left his running Kia in the parking lot with music blasting from the speakers, had claimed he once worked for the company and asked to take a tour.

A depot worker said he was “confused” by the request and ultimately believed that Winslow may have received prior permission.
That assumption turned out to be a mistake. Winslow, according to the arrest report, climbed into the driver’s seat and rolled off with the trolley.
GPS tracking technology allowed company staff to pinpoint the vehicle’s location, which was quickly identified as the bustling tourist area surrounding the Southernmost Point Buoy.
Police caught up with Winslow near the landmark, where he had reportedly picked up “two random passengers” along the way.
When confronted by officers, Winslow displayed signs of erratic behavior and spoke rapidly, the arrest report states.
“Today is his birthday,” he allegedly told officers while insisting he had only “borrowed” the train.
Police say he also reiterated that he had once been an employee of the tour company.
Winslow was arrested and brought to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office jail in Key West.
While being searched during the booking process, authorities reportedly found a methamphetamine pipe in his possession.
Although Winslow claimed, “It’s a weed pipe,” police said test results indicated otherwise.
He now faces several charges, including burglary, grand theft auto, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jail records indicate Winslow is being held on a $60,000 bond.
