A teenage boy from Wisconsin is at the center of a chilling investigation after federal authorities revealed he allegedly murdered his parents as part of a plan to assassinate President Donald Trump and destabilize the U.S. government.
Teenage boy kills parents for money
Seventeen-year-old Nikita Casap was already in custody in Waukesha County on charges of killing his mother, Tatiana Casap, and stepfather, Donald Mayer.
Authorities discovered the couple’s bodies after Casap had been absent from school for two weeks, prompting a welfare check by local law enforcement.
An affidavit made public on Sunday by the Federal Bureau of Investigation outlines disturbing allegations against the teenager.
According to the document, Casap viewed the killings of his parents as a step toward executing a political assassination and igniting chaos nationwide.
“He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government of the United States. And he paid for, at least in part, a drone and explosives to be used as a weapon of mass destruction to commit and attack,” the FBI stated in the affidavit.
Federal investigators believe Casap may have taken the lives of his parents to obtain financial resources needed to carry out his violent plot.
Teenage boy planned to flee the country
The affidavit details how Casap had made contact with unidentified individuals who were aware of his plans and allegedly supported his actions.
“Other parties, with whom Casap was in contact, appear to have been aware of his plan and actions and to have provided assistance to Casap in carrying them out,” the affidavit continues.
The court filing, presented in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, was submitted to establish probable cause that Casap was involved in a conspiracy to assassinate the president and intended to deploy a weapon of mass destruction.
Investigators described Casap as having adopted extreme ideological beliefs.
The FBI claims the teen authored a manifesto where he laid out intentions to target both Trump and Vice President JD Vance in an effort to disrupt governmental stability.
One excerpt from the manifesto quoted in the affidavit reads: “It is clear that the jews control all of the White countries, and it is clear that they promote White genocide and degeneracy. This for the white race to survive, it is necessary to accelerate the collapse of the countries.”
Authorities believe that after carrying out the alleged assassination plot, Casap intended to flee the country.
The affidavit indicates he was in communication with a man in Russia and had made plans to escape to Ukraine.
While the investigation into Casap’s alleged intentions continues, another unrelated arrest in Pennsylvania has drawn attention due to similar threats against federal officials.
Pennsylvania man arrested for Trump assassination plot
In Butler, Pennsylvania, 32-year-old Shawn Monper was taken into custody and charged with four counts of threatening federal law enforcement officers and officials, including Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
The Justice Department disclosed Monper’s arrest over the weekend.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the FBI was alerted on April 8, 2025, after receiving an emergency tip about threatening comments made by a YouTube user named “Mr Satan.”
The posts were reportedly made between January 15 and April 5, 2025.
Investigators traced the user’s IP address to Monper’s home in Butler. A search of records revealed that Monper had obtained a firearms permit shortly after Trump began his second term as president.
Prosecutors allege Monper posted online that he had been acquiring firearms and ammunition over recent months.
In one February post, he reportedly stated that he “bought several guns and [had] been stocking up on ammo since Trump got in office.”
In March, Monper allegedly commented on a video of Trump’s live speech to Congress, saying, “I’m going to assassinate him myself.”
Further alarming messages were attributed to Monper, including: “Eventually I’m going to do a mass shooting,” and “ICE are terrorist people, we need to start killing them.”
Another post from April 1 allegedly read, “If I see an armed ice agent, I will consider it a domestic terrorist, and an active shooter and open fire on them.”
FBI agents, with assistance from Butler Township Police, apprehended Monper on April 9.
He is behind bars until a preliminary court appearance, which is currently scheduled for April 14.
