Kentucky law enforcement has apprehended a woman accused of a gruesome crime involving the dismembered body of her own mother.

Torilena May Fields, a 32-year-old from Mount Olivet, was arrested on October 10 for murdering, dismembering, and then cooking her mother.

Initially, she faced charges related to obstruction, evidence tampering, and corpse abuse, but a grand jury escalated these charges to murder and animal cruelty after her arraignment on Oct. 14.

Fields purportedly shot her mother, Trudy Fields, in the head and repeatedly stabbed her between October 8 and 9, as detailed in her indictment, according to WOLF-TV.

According to the Lexington Herald-Leader, the indictment describes how Fields allegedly decapitated, dismembered, and eviscerated her mother’s body.

She allegedly went on to put her mother’s head and various other body parts in a pot inside the oven until they were thoroughly “charred.”

Contractors hired by the victim discovered the horrifying scene when they arrived at the property.

After knocking on the door without a response, they walked around the house and stumbled upon a shocking sight.

They followed marks on the ground to the back where they found the dismembered body, as detailed in legal documents.

One contractor speculated that the remains belonged to Trudy Fields, noting he last saw her with her daughter, who tried to cast spells on him and his colleague.

State troopers searching the home found the dismembered body near grisly evidence, including a blood-stained mattress and trails of blood leading to the back door.

Another mattress discovered in the backyard contained several severed limbs and organs.

Officers were met with silence when they attempted to contact a woman inside the residence, so they obtained a search warrant to enter the home.

“Troopers attempted to make contact with a female inside the residence but received no response,” the state police commented.

This led to a standoff that went on until late in the evening and concluded with tear gas and the deployment of a robot. Fields eventually emerged from the house covered in blood.

Inside, troopers discovered a severed head along with hands, feet, and a forearm “cooked” in a metal pot inside the oven, which was still “warm to the touch.”

Olivia Brock, a relative, said the shocking death has been “unimaginable” for the family.

“You can imagine, it’s one thing to find out your family member’s been murdered, but I mean, it’s a whole other thing for the details and stuff; I mean, it’s literally unimaginable, unimaginable, she commented.

“That’s a whole different — grief and shock are two different ballgames,” she added.

Brock also shared that the suspect suffered a severe brain injury months prior in a motorcycle crash, affecting her memory and sense of location.

Fellow family member Todd Brock mentioned hearing about Fields’ involvement in performing the dark arts0.000

“Witchcraft, fingernails, and just do different stuff. Whatever witchcraft is, but I heard she was into it,” he said, adding, “I think somebody lost control of their mind.”

Despite his assertions, authorities stated that Fields was not under an “extreme emotional disturbance” with reasonable cause, though reports indicated that she was high on drugs at her arrest.

In addition to the charges regarding her mother, Fields is also accused of torturing and killing a dog.

“It’s unthinkable, really, to end up ending up that way,” neighbor James McFarland told WKYT.

“To me, where is the mindset of the person at that point? Was she really even mentally stable enough to know what she was even doing?” he pondered before adding that Trudy Fields was the “sweetest lady you could be around.”

Fields is currently incarcerated at the Bourbon County Detention Center with a bail set at $1.5 million. A preliminary hearing is set for October 23.

  1. Cruelty to a dog is a felony (as it should be), but sadistic brain suction abortion is legal in. Many states (including Ohio) and politically correct to half of the population.
