A drunk teen driver crashed an out-of-control Mustang into a family home in Phoenix, Arizona, as a couple and their three dogs were getting ready for dinner time.

Marcus Holmberg and Sabrina Rivera sustained minor injuries, including cuts and bruises, when the vehicle smashed through their dining room around 10:30pm on Friday night.
“It was like a bomb went off,” Holmberg told 12 News. “It comes smashing in and it’s just there. It happened so quick. It was so explosive.”
Incredible footage of the incident shows the car ramming into the couple’s single family home as they were about to have dinner on the couch.
A woman and three dogs are seen in the living room where two television trays are set up with food. Shortly after, a man walks into the room from the attached kitchen.
Seconds later, the wall explodes inward as the car blasts through the family home’s exterior, and the man can be seen barely sidestepping the vehicle.
While the three dogs appear to have been run over as the car jolts through the living room, exploding debris into a giant grey cloud of dust, all of the pooches were unharmed in the crash.

“All of the rubble came flying at us at 30, 40, 50 miles per hour because that’s how fast the car was going,” Holmberg said about the impact.
He added that “me and my lady are lucky to be alive” after nearly being hit.
“A reckless driver was drinking and driving and decided to do donuts… and ended up crashing into our house.”
Police arrested an 18-year-old boy on suspicion of driving under the influence, after he drove his car through the family home.
“Some a****le was drinking and driving and decided to try to do donuts… went through our house,” Holmberg said about the accident.
He told the outlet that he and Rivera had “decided to press charges” against the drunk teen driver.
“He nearly killed us,” Holmberg remarked. “I have to miss work, and I have to go to the hospital.”
Holmberg noted the drunk teen was initially on a direct course to run over Rivera, but was deflected by hitting his truck, which was parked right outside the house.
“He was bumped over and he narrowly missed us. If he didn’t hit my truck, he would’ve went straight into her,” he explained after reviewing the video footage from his home’s exterior.
“Thank God that I parked it right there,” the shaken home owner added. “I had to go to the store only an hour and 20 minutes before that and I parked it right there.
Holmberg said his immediate concern after the crash was ensuring Rivera’s safety. Once he knew she was unharmed, he began searching for the dogs.
“Thank God they’re okay… the dogs are all okay,” he noted.
While uninjured, the dogs are “sore and scared” in the crash’s aftermath, and will likely need to get checked out.
“No injuries were found but definitely a vet visit will be in play when we have funds to cover it,” Rivera remarked.
Drunk teen driver could have killed whole family at dinner time
Holmberg knows just how close he and his family came to losing their lives in the freak crash.
“That’s the part that boggles my mind the most is just how on Earth did we get this lucky? And to me, I don’t believe in that kind of luck,” Holmberg stated.
“Someone was watching over us to protect us.”
The couple has now created a GoFundMe campaign, aiming to raise $30,000 to repair their home and his vehicle, as the “incident destroyed everything” they owned.
“We are just trying to survive. we’re asking for the bare minimum to get our home fixed. And my truck repaired,” the page reads. “Insurance is going to fight us left and right. They may not pay for us to have a place to stay.”
As of publishing, the GoFundMe has raised just shy of $3,000 towards their goal.
